Day 219: Another good day so far :) Miss Raven surprised everyone and took 15mls(1/2 an ounce) in just 2 minutes from her bottle today! They were only going to put 5mls in the bottle just to see what she would do, but decided to give her a little more. She is such an amazing little girl! Bottle feeding is just for fun at this point, it is part of the breather/feeder program they have.This is her 2nd time trying the bottle. She is still at 34% oxygen on her CPAP. The only change today is they are going to try to wean her sedative medicine a little. She hasnt tolerated this wean the last few times, so fingers crossed she will be able to handle it this time. They also might turn her oxygen down by 1%, but might not. They dont want to rock her world too much. We are happy with 34% for the time being! If she is doing good tomorrow and is up for it, we get to try a bottle again, then we will give her a break and try again next week. We dont want to push too much. She has made some great improvements lately, and we pray they continue. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts
