Day 22 Camino 20km to Leon. An easy walk to the beautiful city of Leon. I was so excited to get here, I overtook all the other pilgrims. They didnt realise someone with such short legs could go so fast! I booked myself into the incredible Paradore (very,very old Spanish hotel that has been renovated to 5 star) of San Marcos. Leon also has a magnificent cathedral plus this fantastic bar system where you buy a drink and they give you free tapas. Spent the night going from bar to bar filling up on chorizo, queso & pan ( sausage , cheese & bread) . Great fun with big groups of pilgrims who have now been travelling together for three weeks.
