Day 22: The Joyful Mysteries Praying The Rosary is a sweet practice. It is a warm practice. We can sit on The Great Mothers lap, whisper our secrets into her sacred heart, and she will listen without judgement. When we Hail Mary, she rushes to our side. She takes our hand and becomes our constant companion. She leads us into the darkness, and shows us the sweetness that is there. Praying The Rosary is a sweet practice. It is a warm practice. It is a Revolutionary Practice. We can wage war on old belief systems. With our Mothers help, that which no longer serves us, can be pulled up by its roots, obliterated, and transformed. Life, is as much about pain and suffering, as it is about love and joy. When we Hail our Great Mother, she expands our very being. The boulder rushing down the hill becomes a pebble before us. Our Mother is a Warrior! Sometimes she fights the war for us. Sometimes she fights the war beside us. And sometimes, sometimes she is silent, and lets us fight the war by ourselves under her watchful eye. Our Mother, She is sweet. She is gracious, and loving. And, we are Her children. We are the fruits of Her womb, and we were conceived, and nurtured in the darkness of her womb. There is nothing that we can ask of her that she cant handle. When we lack clarity, she will not light the way for us, instead, she will show us how to be comfortable in darkness. She will remind us: Before you walked on this earth, you had to sprout your limbs in the darkness of My womb. Before you could feed yourself, I nurtured you in the darkness of my womb, and after you were born, I held you in my arms in darkness as you latched on to My breasts. Before a tree reveals itself to the sun, it spends time growing and burrowing its roots in darkness. My child, do not be afraid of darkness, for you were conceived, born, and nurtured in it. Be as you were when you were a child. My children are not afraid of the dark. My children see darkness and run to it happily, and without hesitation. They remember the sweet smell of dirt. They remember being nurtured in My womb. They know the revolution begins in darkness, and they are not afraid!
