Day 24: Today I am thankful for the technology we have. I know that the media available to us today is the source of a lot of evil. But, choosing to see or hear the bad stuff still is a decision we decide to make on our own in the end. I am not going to be able to make it to church today because I am just too sick but technology has given me the ability to stream a good live Independent Baptist service right into my home as it happens, (I know it is not the same as being in a service but it is the best I can do right now). Technology has also put at my fingertips God honoring music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I am able to see and/or hear great sermons from great preachers that have gone on to be with the Lord, or even re-listen to a message that has impacted my life. I can listen to my Bible while going to sleep. I am able to easily communicate with my family and friends on many levels with todays media technology. I can even see them hundreds of miles away if we choose! I can easily share my thoughts and the good news on such media outlets as Facebook. See, its not all bad! - (Jack)
