Day 243 Grateful for sleeping in, with day light saving added bonus. Grateful that I am spending the night at the cottage and I am packed to go directly to work or to the hospital depending on what happens with my mom tonight. Grateful for Lynn who is going to pick my mom up from the hospital tonight if they release her and for Rita who is taking care of Lassie. Grateful that they think it is just a low sodium issue and that an IV drip should resolve the issue. Grateful that Minden has an emergency hospital available. Grateful to see the lake from the comfort of my couch, the water is sparkling from the sun and it is beautiful. Always wonder why more people dont stay north longer than thanksgiving. Grateful that Paul dropped me off on the way back from grocery shopping so I got my steps in and that I did not hurt my hip this time coming down the big hill. Grateful that we are having white people food as Paul calls it, steak, and baked potatoes for dinner. Grateful to get all the eves troughs cleaned out and the leaves blown. Grateful to Danny and Elcho for hosting David and Cate this weekend in Ottawa and helping the new graduates network. Grateful for a call from Brody and hearing about his weekend and his Halloween costume and his amazement that I went direct to the cottage from work and didnt see him dressed up and take his picture like I always do! Hes still my little boy, almost 20!
