Day 257 {K} Finally Friday. Wow what a week of HARD work he has put in. This morning we actually a few extra minutes after breakfast. Not sure how that happened, but was thankful for it. Graham and Lydia came this afternoon to take us to therapy, Lydia even helped push Davy in the driveway and through the parking lot. At therapy today Chara really worked him out, of course he enjoyed it greatly. He started out reaching for cones on had to put them on the mat beside him. For his mat work.... It was crazy but worked him out!!! Miss Shirley helped to get him up on the bolster, then teased him about praying while he was on his knees. He counted to 20, got hung up on 14 a few times, then Shirley helped him get back on track. Chara then stretched his legs, she said, just like a baby learns to crawl, when he was on the mat like this, it starts to wake up different muscles. Then he was off to speech. {Thank you Chara for letting me share my heart}. When he got into the speech room he was able to communicate to Jenna that his glasses were in the bag on the back of his wheelchair. He did pretty good with her, and struggled some, I think it might have been he was pretty tired. When we got back to the house, Liz had supper waiting for us, after supper Lydia and I made brownies (with nuts), she even gave Grandpa kisses with brownie batter in her face. Tomorrow, we celebrate Ellis first birthday. After listening to The Martins this morning, I told Davy this morning our new motto is it didnt come to stay....It Came To PASS... What he has accomplished in therapy in the past month is nothing short of a miracle... Thats right.. It Came To Pass!!! {It is Well!}
