Day 3… “My hope is in You Lord all the day long, I won’t be - TopicsExpress

Day 3… “My hope is in You Lord all the day long, I won’t be shaken by drought or storm. The peace that passes understanding is my song, and I sing, my hope is in You alone.” From Aaron Shust “My Hope is In You” youtube/watch?v=-RRZgr7wNDs&feature=kp Philippians 4:6 and 7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” There are some days I feel I’m still in the nursery level when it comes to trusting God. I find it fairly easy in the day to day events but there are those certain times of crisis when I can falter and run amuck with fear. Maybe you are like me. Philippians 4:6 and 7 are great verses to meditate on and even memorize. In times of drought and storm when our personal world is shaken, our hope is in Him alone. God, in His lovingkindness made provision for those of us who are devastated by a prognosis or crisis. It’s called the “peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.” How desperately we need His peace and the guarding of our heart and minds. Our amazingly thoughtful God has made every provision for our need. How are you doing on your fast? The first few days are the hardest. Your offering is precious to God. God, increase my trust. I know You are both trustworthy and faithful. Thank You for making a provision for me when I’m shaken. You are my source for peace beyond understanding, hope eternal and the guardian of my heart and mind when I desperately need it. Today, I’d like us to continue asking for complete healing for Cathy Blackmon, Aaron Bruce (Aaron was readmitted to a hospital in Fresno last night), Michael Dwyer and Rhonda Barrett (Rhonda will be having surgery next week for an undetermined ovarian mass). Maybe you know someone else with a frightening diagnosis as well. God, our desire is to trust you entirely. Our hope is in You alone. Bless our loved ones with Your healing touch. Thank You for sustaining them and their families. We celebrate Your goodness towards them!
