Day 3 of 5 Each day post a song that has real and true significance for you. I think I first heard this one when my brother bought the That Summer! album - lots of good songs on there. I finally got to see Eric in 1986 at the jailhouse where hed reverted to his real name although the band was named after len bright ..... 20 years later I saw a gap in his tour schedule and put him on at henrys cellar bar and tonight hes through in glasgow. Hes got a lot of great songs and Id rather put another one down - I heard Ian Dury say that the b-side was better (semaphore signals) and it is (in a way) but I have to choose this because it was one of the first songs I learnt on the guitar.
