Day 3 of QJC - Day of Firsts. Brodie was up first today and went down swinging against an in form Ethan S, some brutal rallies and great sportsmanship was on show as Brodie continued his unlucky form this week. Later in the day he came through to have his first win at this years QJC by defeating Bundy Boy Matt 3-0, Brodie played some wonderful points and kept those errors to a bare single hand count in each game. Morgan also got in for his first ever QJC win against an Under 13 opponent and as usual was all smiles & skulled a bottle of gatorade between the 1st and 2nd games in his excitement. Morgan was not so lucky in the afternoon going down to another U/13 Boy who was just far to strong. The Mullin boys played an epic battle today as usual, but it was Chris today who managed to hit more straight drives to the back corner and that was the only difference in that match this morning a very close 3-1 victory. In the other Sandgate match Lindsay held a decisive 2-1 lead over Jason but was unable to hold off the fast finishing Jason as Lindsay tired and played far too many short shots to keep himself in the match, Jason up 3-2. Declan then faced BJ for an opportunity to play off for 5th tomorrow and got very close in the first two games with some excellent volley drives and sensational lobs. Unfortunately BJ had the touch of a feather today and was far too good attacking short. Good luck on the final day boys
