Day 3 of the Christmas Hunt: Last Day till next November to Hunt with The Little Cannon. Browning Semi-Automatic 7mm Magnum. Once again not real cold this morning. A light little sprinkle this morning, just enough to make it where I couldnt see very good out the window of the Buggy (side by side.) Guess Im gonna have to re apply the Rain X cause it appears to have faded away. Its been a great Year of Deer Hunting. I have had so many relaxing times in my Condo stand. Its so nice to get here and flip on the light and turn on the heater, close the windows and stay warm when its cold. With the rain beating down on the Tin Roof and the Heater rolling Ive taken some real good naps in here. Lol. Killed some good Deer, saw a bunch of Big Tom Turkeys, killed a Bobcat, watched Ducks fly over and listened to the guys in the Bottoms blast away at them. Watched a ton of Geese fly over real low and land in Gary Lewis Field to take a break. Drove down Cale Road and got to take a picture of them, there must have been a Thousand of them. Watched a Gray Squirrel several mornings in the one lone Oak Tree that is left in the clear cut and had a couple of Fox Squirrels banging around under my Stand eating a hole in a sack of corn I had laying under it. Had no idea what was under there making all that racket, thought I was hearing things. So all in all its been a fun, relaxing time Hunting here all Year. As I sit here waiting on Daylight to break listening to the Geese fly over Ive been thinking about all the people that have been having troubles lately with health, deaths in the family, etc. Seems like there has been a lot of it right here around Christmas. I pray that they somehow find some comfort and peace!! So anyone that is going through a rough time I dedicate my last Deer Hunt of the Year to you. Now I probably want kill anything, but I will say a prayer for you!! Ive enjoyed writing about my hunts all Year. Ill be writing about some Squirrel and Coon hunts soon. Usually have some good stories so be looking for them. Good luck to all you last day Hunters out there. Just remember if you dont get him today hell be even bigger next Year!!
