Day 31: Single Leg Squat At long last it comes to this. We have successfully made it through 31 days of exercise. Thank you to everyone who read and participated in this! Without further ado... The single leg squat is an excellent exercise to build single leg strength and power but can be very difficult to execute properly. To correctly do a single leg squat you must start by hinging at your hips, imagine sitting into a chair. Your torso will lean slightly forward and your glutes will shift backwards. From here begin to bend at the knee and continue to sit backwards. Make sure that your hips remain level and your knee does not dive inward. Squat to a depth that is comfortable and that allows you to maintain proper form. You can use a kitchen counter or chairs to provide upper body support to take some of the weight out of your legs while you complete this exercise. Best of luck! #NationalPTMonth
