Day #34 of 80 Day Prayer Chain Prayer Item - Pray for quality people to decide to run for public office. - Pray for wisdom, effectiveness and power in the campaigns and decisions of those we feel (whom you feel inclined toward) led to support. James 1:5-7 (NKJV) 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord Observation After a vigorous leadership crisis in the ruling party it now seems the dust is finally settling down and the presidential candidate is clearly the choice of the majority. As such the die has been cast and the race set. On the other hand another major party still has to work out whom their presidential candidate is. In the meantime the race has a defined direction and this means those of us praying cab become more specific. We therefore pray that God causes each of them to have a conscience and be aware of their methods. That they may promote peaceful and wholesome campaigning. We bind and scatter any camp that still promotes violence. May he that causes bloodshed be accursed - in Jesus name. Keep praying brethren.
