Day 4: -I am going to miss the museums, especially the free ones. I saw the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, several Van Goghs, the flag that inspired the Star-Spangled Banner, an inverted Jenny stamp, a drone, a piece of the Berlin Wall, a Jim Henson Muppet, a crystal that resembled fur (so weird), the Peacock Room on a day that curators let the afternoon light in (AMAZING), the Unibombers cabin, and a million other awesome things. Goodbye museums :( -I will not miss being alone all of the time. Making friends was hard. Most people are transient and/or insanely busy. I spent most of my time here alone. Sometimes I spent it in my pajamas on the couch with a bag of Cheetos and a bottle of Two-Buck Chuck. One time I rode a 3-gear bike from Rosslyn all the way to Mount Vernon and back (bad idea) alone. And when it was over I looked and smelled like I lived in an alley. People on the train avoided me. I had to learn to like myself because that was basically all I had. And from that I also began talking to myself. A lot. That is especially creepy with a cheeto-orange mouth. Im not sure why.... Buh-bye solitude! :)
