Day 4. Today I am thankful for a man that came into my life unexpectedly. At the time I didnt realize it, but I needed someone honest, someone who would tell me the things I didnt necessarily want to hear, a non sugarcoater than would help me get through a lot of nonsense that was going on in my life. My boyfriend Skip, he has helped me see what I was doing and allowing others to do to me, helped me find the strength in myself to move past where I was and realize I could be happy and deserved it. What started out as just a confidant, a friendship, someone to vent and talk to has progressed into something I thank God every day for bringing into my life. He brings laughter, honesty, and balance to my life that I never realized was missing. The last year and a half with you has been full of great memories, laughing until I cried, late night talks, trials and nonsense we both caused, tears and arguments .. things may not always be perfect, but they sure are worth it!
