Day 4.....gratitude challenge: 1. Alberta....I dont wanna sound braggy or nothing, but this province is killer! We have the Rocky Mountains, the Crowsnest Pass, the Drumheller Badlands, wide open spaces and fields of gold....what ever youre thing is, we got it... So proud of our neck of the woods! 2. Comic Books...theyre just rad!!! Nuff said!!! 3. My Mom....I really dont know anyone personally whos gone through more and came out the other side than my own mother. Shes faced some terrible things in her life and yet somehow she managed to find a silver lining through it all, find the help she needed and discovered her true self. She then spent her later working years helping countless men behind bars find peace, joy and purpose. To top it all off...she retires and starts painting...but doesnt paint apples and trees and stuff, but mind blowing works of art that have been exhibited in New York, Spain, Holland and of course, here at home...shes an act of God... Im so lucky to have such a cool mom!! aprilmercredi/
