Day 4 of Gratitude Challenge. 1. I am thankful that my colleague Leslie Areman Balcom is so wonderful to work with and is even willing to give up her much nicer portable easel for my use while my laptop is once again not working at school. It is tall enough almost all of the kids can actually see what I am writing on it! 2. I am thankful to have the best of both worlds where I live - in a small village convenience but also the last house on a dead end street surrounded by trees and water. I can frequently watch a great blue heron, painted turtles and snapping turtles in their natural habitat right out my back door. 3. I have a husband who is a skilled carpenter, bakes yummy pies, and is generous and loves to help others. I challenge Pam Mcdonald and Nancy Gardner to post 3 things for 5 days that they are thankful for.
