Day 4 of blessings: 1. I am blessed to have a HUGE family with lots of uncles and aunts that I love very much! 2. I am also blessed to have SO many cousins that I also love. Its great to see our family grow yr after yr! 3. I am truly blessed to have had four grandparents that made an impact on my life. One set was taken too soon but my grandpa and grandma Hamilton was a major part of my life. I was fortunate enough to be with them till the end. I got to care for them in their final years and days and I watched my grandpa take his very last breath. I know how much they loved my mom, me and my kids. Even in the end grandpa told me he knew - he knew what mom had given up for them. It just warms my heart to know that we were the ones there and they knew even when their minds werent as sharp. I always tell mom she paid it forward and she will be taken care of someday. I will be sure of it. Today I nominate Kay Lucas, Susan Lyons and Connie Cox DeVol because my grandpa loved these 3 like his daughters too.
