Day 4 of having unfollowed thousands of people..... (some of you were asking about how this has unfolded) #blissful I dont think I gave enough thought in how easily other peoples shit influences our perspective. I thought I would feel as though I was missing something by doing this..... but I just dont. I know that I made the effort to befriend or accept the requests.... and I did so with a lot of business sense in mind..... but since I tend to give my time freely to a lot of people..... Its actually backfired on me to be so available. When I dont interact at the same level.... people take it personally, when really... Im just over here like (building dreams... Rome wasnt built in a day) I also found myself commenting and liking things with people whom I didnt know in the least..... and when they didnt seem to want to interact back...... I just now take it as a dead end.... because this is social media after all. lol Its nice to be social in a social space again..... I know right? What an effing concept. I thought to myself.... if we arent social.... then why are we filling each others feed up. Nothing personal obviously.... we all have our own likes and dislikes.... so now.... I get to interact daily with people whom interact with me... sharing the ideas.... building the dreams together, re-sharing the dumb laughs and supporting each other freely and without stalker like competitive motivation. lol (look at me, humble bragging and I get to do this) I am just as guilty of posting the fun-tastic things that Im lucky to do.... but my motivation has always been to make sure you know that I want you to be a part of this journey with me.... its not exclusive... its not a competition.... its an invitation to come be a part of something in a world that tries to edge you out.. time and time again. When people dont reciprocate that.... or dont connect with that.... then I figure they dont... wont.. and or never will.
