Day 41 #CountdownToPrimaries 2014. There are just 41 days to go - TopicsExpress

Day 41 #CountdownToPrimaries 2014. There are just 41 days to go until the 2014 Gubernatorial Primaries - and it is the most important event especially for our generation. Because whoever successfully emerges from the Primaries is sure to win the 2015 Governorship Elections in Cross River. Since 1999 Cross River State has worked hard to raise our people out of poverty and want - and today we are growing faster than at any other time in the history of our State. With news just in concerning the opening-up of the Calabar Channel the opportunities that will result can be best imagined. First of all, it would open up our economy to the world and put record numbers of our people in work. That means more peace of mind for millions of families in Cross River - and more parents being able to provide for their children. Our long-term economic plan of building a service based economy, supported by strong social services is working - and at the next election, we can either continue on that path or throw it all away. We have the chance to make Cross River even greater: a place where reward truly follows effort; where your destiny is not decided by where you are from, but how much effort you put in; where we remain able to provide for the poorest, the sick, the elderly; where morally, culturally and economically our State stands tall in Nigeria. A choice for an inexperienced candidate hardly bears thinking about. All they offer is more spending, more borrowing, more debt, and more taxes. So just imagine what would happen: our State Government racking up more debt; interest rates and and debt servicing obligations going up; local businesses crushed under punishing taxes; jobs leaving our shores for other States; a great State slipping into decline. I dont want this to happen - and if you dont either, please donate your support to our message today. The next election is a straight choice: choose experience, capacity, leadership and a Plan. There is no second way, no third way - 100% UGBO! We cannot throw away the progress that Cross River has made so far. Instead, we have got to continue with the long-term plan, steady it and make it work better for our people. So please - make an effort today, donate your voices, a kind word, share our message, speak to friends, neighbours and colleagues about your Man - Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo. But do not stop there. Speak to them about our Plans in Healthcare, Early Education, Higher Education, Energy, Housing and Culture. Thank you. Proudly #Age30Plus #FidelisUgbo4CRSGovernor2015
