Day 4th (already?) of the Grateful (Gratitude) challenge: 1. Clean water - might sound odd but I am very grateful for the abundance of water I have access to in my life and especially grateful for clean water. My heart breaks for the people on Northern reserves who lack adequate and/or clean water supplies. 2. I am grateful for my cozy apartment. Changes in my life have me missing my former house & pool but I am very comfortable in my apartment. I am very grateful that they were originally built to be condos with individual doors and washer & dryers in each unit. There are too many homeless people in the world for me to complain about my surroundings. 3. Maybe too materialistic but I am very grateful for my cell phone. I have a long list of contacts that I can stay in touch with whether it be by phone call, text, email, Twitter, or Facebook (youre reading this now, right?). I now nominate Susan Cowan, Mary Chalmers AND Maria Sirdar-Nickel to take the 5 days challenge of posting 3 things each day for which you are grateful.
