Day 5. I am thankful for a Ranch life. I am grateful for the generations before me that have made this possible. I am thankful for the privilege to be married into it. My in-laws have always made me feel welcome, and have never held back anything from me. I am so very blessed to be a part of this life. As I hear the trucks and trailers bang in the driveway, I look forward to today. The guys are headed out early with motorcycles and 4-wheelers to gather. No doubt Gma Susan Alan Goffena has made cinnamon rolls to munch on. After I get the kids on the bus, Ill hop in a truck w/Gpa and head out to sort calves from cows. Ranchers can/usually are hermits. But working days, you grab your neighbors and friends. You all work together to get things done, while enjoying and talking with a friend. And when a neighbor needs a hand, you make the time to go help as well. I look forward to today, and I am ever grateful that James has a full day of school - or todays opportunity would not exist!!
