Day 5: I usually try to focus on something that I didnt list last year. But, cant over look this one. The journey began when I was on my knees....seven years ago....begging God for a place for me and my children. I am thankful for my home. This Little House has MANY beautiful memories. It was my safe haven for me and my children, and later....my husband. A place of reunited love...children growing....graduating from high school, and leaving home....sleep overs....family get togethers....holidays....prayers over thousands of meals and bedtimes. A wall lined with crosses in memory of JC, and what he did for our eternal salvation and how God blessed our lives. A yard with many trees, one with a swinging rope, fall leaves, and a squirrel grave. If these walls could talk, man....would they have a story...a story of family, trials, failures, triumph, overcoming, love and renewal. Myself and my children will never forget the time we spent here. No doubt I will shed many tears as I kneel and say my last prayer before I depart into my new home.
