Day 5: across the US: We had to delay our departure from the Raddison Blu Hotel in MN because of heavy rain overnight. Many roads were flooded because it was storming in parts of our route and a flash flood alert was posted. We finally left about noon (central time) and got into South Dakota late in the afternoon. Found a Best Western in Canistota SD. They suggested the Battle Creek Steakhouse & Bait Shop for dinner. The food there was Great! Nice cozy place. I think we will stay here for 2 nites.
