Day 5 of the gratitude challenge -- but overall I want to say that I am grateful that my life is so full I am deciding which things to post rather than searching for things to appreciate and that my problems are first world problems 1) That the search for a new apartment was relatively short and met my top two criteria -- a nice kitchen and close to a good train! 2) That I will be voting today as I have at every opportunity since I turned 18 -- politics are personal and we have to put our person in it for it to work 3) For my education which informs me everyday and also affords me amazing personal and professional opportunities -- from the excellent personal attention I got in a small, country public school (k-12, one district, one building -- cant beat it), to the multitude of colleges that went into my BA (Tulane, SUNY Purchase, USM, The New School), to the two very diverse views I got in both of my masters programs (Milano and NYU Stern) -- for all the professors and peers that made that education worthwhile and for all my employers who supported me on the journey
