Day #54 Rock Bottom! Well, yesterday was lab day and the results were not good. The Dr. didnt seem to surprised, but Becky and I sure were! WBC 0.3, Hgb 8.4, Platelet 38, Neutrophils 0.00! As long as I continue to feel good I wont get a transfusion, we just wait for the counts to come back. I had a kitchen accident yesterday as well, causing cellulitis in the end of my finger and an infection. Now I have a numb finger that is very painful and it needs antibiotics! Also, an antiviral was prescribed to protect me from getting shingles! What next??!! I am tired (no doubt) as usual and with this extreme neutropenia I have to stay away from everyone!!! Repeat blood tests tomorrow to see if I numbers are going in the direction. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! Thanx today go out to Lucia Mumm for wonderful peach-poppy seed muffins for breakfast and Dawn Hull for a quinoa casserole dinner, it was delicious! Thanx to Amy McCorkell Mayer and Chris for the yard sale box and the surprise inside. Special thanx to the College St laundry ladies, (Sheila Hagar, Kay West, and Krisann Oestreich Bienvenu) for sweet smelling clothes. Peace and Love everyone, Bob. Oh and here are some more somewhat disrubing photos of me.
