Day 66: Another birthday. I can just about kiss my 50s goodbye now!!! Sorry, no pics today. Despite being in an exciting big city like NYC - as has become my yearly ritual, I spent my Big Day with my friends here on FB - and once again, Im overwhelmed by the flood of good wishes, which means more to me than I can even begin to say. I am thanking each and every one of you, personally, but its taking awhile, so please be patient. A few birthday Fun Facts, in the meantime: I was born on the first day of winter - and it also happened to be Thanksgiving on the day I was born (this only happens every seven years or so~). My parents were ardent JFK supporters (he was the first famous person I ever laid eyes on, when I was four years old, and still remember) - and he happened to be, unfortunately, assassinated right ON my 8th birthday (which I also still remember, btw). Another memorably bad birthday: my dads funeral was held on my 31st. And, for the record, this is not my first and only birthday ever spent in New York City. I was here for several days in November 2000, including my 45th birthday. I guess that about covers it. Once again, I thank you ALL soooooo much!!!!
