Day 66: Shopping day. We were up before the majority of Vegas (9am) to head out to the outlet malls that we had heard so much about. Expecting an inside mall with air conditioning and arriving at an outside one we quickly got the hang of hustling between shops to stay in the air conditioning as much as possible. After a very successful morning we headed back to the hotel to meet up with DonDon (Donna) and spend a few hours at the pool. Unfortunately, after cutting our pool time short to get picked up for our helicopter tour to Grand Canyon, the tour was cancelled due to weather at the Canyon. So back to the hotel for a lazy evening before venturing out to the Venetian to see if tonight would be our night. Such a crazy place, a grand canal, streets and a St Marks square exactly like Venice only so much cleaner, and an awesome fake sky ceiling throughout making it all feel like day time. Had a good old Kiwi catch up with Don Don and Belinda over drinks and dinner before contributing to the Vegas slush funds of losses, still no luck here.
