Day 7: How you can help Andrew Pakes win in Milton Keynes South this May, and form a #LabGov #GE2015 #TeamSouthEast: Andrew is the Labour & Co-operative Parliamentary Candidate for Milton Keynes South. Andrew was twice elected as President of the National Union of Students (NUS) - the first student from Milton Keynes to hold the position - where he represented 4 million students in further and higher education. He also worked for the Association of University Teachers (now part of the University and College Union) which represents staff at the Open University. Andrew studied environmental management at university and remains passionate about environmental issues. For four years, he chaired SERA - the Labour green group - working with councillors, MPs, businesses and community organisations to promote environmental progress and social justice. Andrew is an active member of the co-operative movement, as was the Labour & Co-operative Parliamentary Candidate in MIlton Keynes North during the 2010 election.
