Day 75 of AD 2014, #WordFromCurtis is... WISDOM FOR ALL (divine common sense) The entrance (unfolding) of thy words giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the SIMPLE. - Psalm 119:130 What makes d Word of God active is d INSIGHT (divine revelations) therein, else its only a book of historical records abt a people & their God. Nicodemus knew dis & hence forgot his position to seek assistance frm d SOURCE. Remember d Ethiopian eunuch? He ws reading HISTORY till MYSTERY ws revealed to him by Philip. So active became d Word dat he instantly realized wht he needed (BAPTISM) & he asked for it personally. Wow! Satan knows that once a believer gets insight into d Word hes in trouble so he employs 3 strategies. 1. prevents 1 frm reading at all 2. allows 1 to read but like a newspaper (with no deeper undstnding except wht hs happened & hs bn recorded) 3. diverts 1s attention frm DIVINE TRUTH to SCIENTIFIC LOGICAL CONCLUSIONS so dat d gospel may seem flawed or nonsense. In our next few doses we shall be considering some few scriptures Satan confuses many of us with & makes us condemn ourselves in order fall off the radar of grace. Dont miss them please.
