Day 9 #100DaysofHappy This week, I realized just how awesome the people are that I work with. Our job & the field we have chosen wasnt one I feel we choose but rather choose us. The outpouring of encouragement Ive seen from people that I did not really sit down and take the time to know until the passing of Tina has made me realize that Ive got to slow down & KNOW you all more. Yesterday, I got to sit down with Lahairoi Lasha Collins & her overall sprit with what she does there & the love she has for her family is beautiful. I had a guy, Brian one of the MHAs bring me to tears just becausd he wanted to let me know if there was anything he could do to help to let him know-we had never spoken more than the casual hellos in the hallways. The help that Randy Griffith gave me to move some her files into boxes, I just wasnt able to emotionally do it nor physically do it just yet & he took the time after charge nursing to do that for me. The hugs from Carlaia Upton Randall, Laura Rainbow & Lica Nicholle-even her getting my paper work for me one day (and im not a hugger but I hugged!!) Teresa Moore jumping right in head first to help & seeing waaaaay more tears than she ever bargain for! Janice Hinson Wright being there to help with every silly question I have. Kelly Melton Stewart & Laura Johoske Davis checking on me & helping answer questions. Sara Davis & Lisa Murray & Patricia Mills making me laugh!! A&R staff, Candice Hoke, Julia Dickinson, Teena M Johnson & Fred Knox for not jumping through the phone because I dont know how to do something, Jessica Ballance....oooo sweet Jessica!!! You made my moring that one morning & you know what Im talking about. Kellie Snellings even your story bout Eastons song was a smile I needed! John Norris Holli Courson and Melanie Moore Paulman you guys sending messagesto show you care. Rose Stender oooo poor Rose & those sheets with those dates!!! We got it though! Renee Swaims Riggan who has taken this as hard as I have, for letting me come vent & cry in her office on days that I just didnt know what I was doing & how I needed one more day with Tina Hill Friemel to learn things. Jennifer Mitchell Bowen for sticking it out with me to find your reports!!!! And last but not least to end my week with Jan Davis & Jaime Swaty over an allergic rereaction to orange! (Next time read the ingredients!!!) Ijust want you each to know, Im trying hard to keep the pages turning but it would be impossible to do without the goodness you all have in your heart. Our patients are lucky I think to have such excellent staff to care of them while they are there. We get stressed, we get over worked, Lord knows we get tired but guys...we ALWAYS show compassion to each other during these times. Today my happy is each of you! And I extened this happy to Bobbie Sue Mooney Morrison Janett Wallace Robin Cotten Tresa Edmonson Haley & Darlene, and even though you three arent there Kirby Caddy, Shirley Griggs Kung & Shawna Watkins yall know your emails, text & calls have been happiness to me! If Ive forgotten you-please know that its not on purpose!!!
