Day 9: Today I am thankful for family. The past couple of months my cousin Alicia Gray Holden has been working on the Garland family tree going all the way back to when our Great grandmother Phoebea was a young girl. It is so awesome to look at the pics and read their stories. There is the most beautiful picture of my great grandmother at around 16 years old or so, and you can see the true beauty. She had Cherokee blood and it is so obvious to see. Also pictures of all my great aunts and uncles. It seems strange to see them as young children, when we have always recognized them as not so young LOL.!! Great job Alicia!
