Day 9 continued.. We were on the road a bit after the hot air balloon adventure and wifi was hot & miss. To finish off, our activities for this day included a cooking class with Tolga and his family in the village of Mustafapasha (once an old Greek village called Sinassos) near the city of Gurup. Amazing hospitality and the food was lovely. From there we went on to a ceramics workshop, underground city (Vas went in and under) and finally to the Goreme Zemi Valley open air museum of cave monasteries, churches and a nunnery. What an amazing place which has withstood the hands of time but not the hands of the Ottomans. The desecrated artwork/iconography was hard on the heart.. Unfortunately, We were not allowed to take photos inside the churches
