(You both use line with such economy and skill) I see myself from behind, looking up at me. Im standing on a lake. Unsteady, yet firm, finding the balance between my feet and the space just above where the water breaks. A balancing act, on unsteady ground unground, groundlessness? And I stretch down into the silvery depths. I draw from the deep, a long silver thread. It stretches far in front and far behind me. Delicate like silk. I place it in my left hand and reach back down. Again another, and another, until they are as thick as a reed. Im grateful for the coming. I am faith full.
