Day Four: #7DayGratitudeChallenge. I am expected to share reasons for my being thankful for the next seven days and nominate 3 people to do same on a daily basis. Today’s note is a bit late because I have been having a running battle with myself whether to do this knowing the writing prowess of the today’s subject. I am just gonna say it as I feel it so here we go again… As open as I may seem I don’t really warm up to people too early. You might be an acquaintance who I can get along and share general stuffs with but friendship on a whole new no-holds-barred -your-secret-is-safe-with-me level is extended to very few people. She is one of them. Totally unassuming yet firm individual with a mind that could scare the wildest ocean... My copywriter and go-to “matters arising” person. Her husband’s “right hand man” and her children’s first and best teacher and protector extraordinaire. Today is her birthday. Please help me wish Idolor Olukayode aka Didi aka Fine face aka I.D. aka Mommy aka “our wife” a wonderful birthday celebration. You are appreciated darling. I’m sure you know that without a doubt! I’m so gutted I won’t be there to enjoy the day with you and the rest of the family but I’m sure you’re enjoying every bit of deserved attention you will get today. I hereby nominate Olufunmilade Nhyira Olumide Alli Baba Usman Wale Salami (todays for my men :) ) who are required to also over 7 days nominate their own 3 persons as well to say what they are thankful for even if for the minute things. PS: So if you’re looking for that one thing that might ruin my political career if I choose that path, you know who to meet :)
