Day Three - Third Tune. I loved the whole 2-Tone era. Having been bought up in my early teens on a diet of The Specials, The Selecter and early Madness at our school discos it was fair to say that I was an avid afficinado of all things ska and 2-tone. This tune absolutely paved the way and opened my eyes and ears to early jamaican ska, reggae and bluebeat , bridging the gap between what I was listening to and where it was the influenced. This might not be the best early ska record produced, but it was to empty my pocket money in every second hand record shop in Maidstone in the pursuit of more blue beat and trojan scratched up records. This is to everyone who ever wore frank wright loafers, brogues, sta-prest, tonic trousers, harrington jackets and gobbed on the heavy metallers at the school disco....
