Day three of the positivity challenge which was yesterday (nothing like consistency). 1. It was a calm if dull day in Ireland. We are blessed with a temperate climate. No hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, tsunami or other extremes. This is something most of us never consider when we complain about the weather. Im ok with the weather plus in Ireland its ok to randomly talk to strangers and complain about the weather. 2. Looking at the world at large, we are not living in a war zone. We had a war zone in the north a few short years ago but for now we have peace. 3. Scottish independence is in the headlines now with the upcoming election on that issue. I dont take our independence for granted. If the few men with vision had not staged the 1916 rebellion, we would be the ones debating the break with the U.K. (though we still have an occupied section) We live in a peaceful Island with a manageable climate and great people, for that I am grateful.
