Day two of my positivity challenge. Posting three positive things each day for five days. As it my job to nominate somebody each day to join in this challenge, today I nominate Maureen Walker. We met by lucky chance when I had the pleasure of working with her husband. This lady is determined, brilliant and focused! On to the positive for tonight: 1. Although some might not consider it positive, I feel incredibly lucky to have been brought up with reality and logic. My mom ( Abigail Beebe ) was never one to sugar coat things and Lynn had a way of explaining everything with total logic. Although totally different ways of doing everything it all seemed to fit. I am lucky! The real world was never a surprise for me. 2. I love what I do! Although I fell into my lab career accidentally after realizing, nursing and education was not for me, it was a happy accident. Although it does not pay great, it is a career that had afforded me the opportunity to live comfortably on my own, travel for work, live anywhere. I like the thinking behind the scenes kind of work. 3. Did i mention that I have the bestest pup dog a girl could ever ask for?! My roommate talked me into this sweet puppy (I had never had a dog before) little did I know 17 years later he would still be kicking. Best pal ever! he has traveled with me everywhere probably, more places than a lot of people.
