Day two of pretending to comply with this silly gratitude challenge that I was tagged in. Okay, heres the deal: After a lifetime of wondering why my life sucked, I woke up to the fact that it didnt. All I had to do was look around me and see the many blessings that God had given me. Life is good! It doesnt matter if you are wearing the latest fashions, what you look like, where you live, or if your car doesnt run, or even if you dont have a car. Life is good! Do I need to say it again? LIFE IS GOOD!! Blessings are everywhere. When you stop looking for whats wrong in your life, and start looking at what is right, you begin to see them. here are a few more of mine. Ever so grateful that I got to get acquainted with some of our local raccoons. What a source of joy they are! Im also glad that some of our ancestors took the time to make dogs and cats a part our lives. Animals of all sorts give me joy. Im glad that the woman I married still puts up with me after all these years. Im not your average dog. Im glad Im not your average dog. Im grateful for the art and artists in my life. I struggle with painting and music, but it also brings such great happiness and satisfaction. (I think my wife feels like this about me). Im grateful that my parents and family cared enough about me to stand by me all those dark years. Im grateful for Pacific NW summers! Im also grateful for Leo Fender, Jim Marshall, Bob Taylor & Orville Gibson. ...and you.
