Days 7, 8, and 9! FREEDOM BREAKTHROUGHS! DAY SEVEN – 1/18/14 – “Freedom through the Cross” Read: John 12:27-36; Psalm 103:1-12; II Corinthians 3:4-18; Galatians 3:13-14: Isaiah 53:4-6 - He who the Son sets free… IS free indeed! - Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the Cross… represents a Great Exchange - He became a curse “for us” – so that we would become Blessed! - The Cross of Calvary represents Forgiveness; Pardon; and Freedom! Jesus took OUR place… suffered the penalty for OUR sins… and even tasted death for us. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you fresh revelation of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus. Receive Communion today (partaking of the bread and the cup). And receive His forgiveness and freedom… and SAY that you are the Redeemed of the Lord! Give Him thanks! Rejoice! DAY EIGHT – 1/19/14 – “Freedom through Truth” Read: John 8:31-37; Colossians 1:9-14; John17:14-21; Isaiah 54:17; II Corinthians 10:3-5 - The Truth – that we abide in and apply and walk in – will make us Free! - We have been transferred out of darkness into Light… His Word gives us Light - We are sanctified in Truth… His Word IS the Truth! The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy… by lies, deception, and accusation. For Satan is a liar and there is NO truth in him! We will not find true Freedom… apart from the Word… and as children of the Lord… our heritage is to prove every lie, and deception, and accusation to be falsehood… BY PROCLAIMING TRUTH! We ABIDE in Truth… in order to STAY free! Ask the Holy Spirit to come… giving you a desire for the Word… and guide you into all the Truth. So that you can successfully combat the lies, deception and condemnation… with the sword of the Spirit… the Word of God! Tear down the strongholds in your own thinking… and take every “untruthful thought” captive… and prove it to be wrong… with God’s word! DAY NINE – 1/20/14 – “Freedom through Fasting” Read: Matthew 17:14-21; Isaiah 58:6-8; Psalm 51:10-15 - Some “kinds” of bondage – cannot be broken – but through prayer WITH fasting! - Fasting will loosen the bonds of wickedness and undo the bands of the yoke… so the oppressed can “go free” – and our light will then “break out” like the dawn. - David repented and cried out for a clean heart and a renewed, steadfast spirit; that the Spirit of the Lord would restore the Joy of salvation & sustain him with a “willing” spirit! Pray David’s prayer of repentance to the Lord today! Ask the Holy Spirit to restore unto you the Joy of salvation; that not only the bonds and bands will be loosened… but that He will sustain you… with a “willing spirit” to DO the will of God; that His praise may again - be upon your lips!
