Days after I led a bipartisan letter calling on FERC to reverse its capacity zone decision, FERC announced it will hold a conference with New York Public Service Commission to review the capacity zones. While its good news that FERC is taking a significant step in reviewing the new capacity zone it shouldnt take an act of Congress to make FERC reconsider an irresponsible decision that hurts hardworking families and small businesses in the Hudson Valley. FERC needs to not only reverse this decision but immediately refund my neighbors who have already been hurt by these rate hikes.
