DeAr FriEnDs!!! Helping Hand USA established a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center at Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan in November 2011. Physio Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthotics (Custom Made Assistive Devices) and Prosthetics (artificial body parts) services are being offered in the center by team of 10 professionals. Alhamdulillah, till June 30, 2014, more than 31954 patients in all categories. I completed detailed monitoring visit of the center. Arranged meetings with staff and patents/beneficiaries, reviewed documentation, assets verification and Orthotics & Prosthetics lab was monitored during monitoring visit. Daily 50-60 patents visit the center. There is dire need to develop strategy to promote this center in the area for improvement of patients flow particularly of Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O) patients. Overall this is a good center and big hands for the team who is dedicated and expert.
