Deal generously with your servant; then I will live and observe your word. Open my eyes, so that I will see wonders from your Torah. Teach me the way of your laws; keeping them will be its own reward for me. Give me understanding; then I will keep your Torah. Guide me on the path of your commandments, for I take pleasure in it. Bend my heart toward your instructions and not towards selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; for your ways give me life.
