Dean Razorback V Bass $800 Preston, VIC 3072. Have had it on ebay and gumtree without any serious bites so as much as I thought it was priced to sell quick, I have reduced it again to make sure of that so lets make a deal. The V Bass models are no longer made by Dean Guitars and highly sought after. Unfortunately with Bass Guitars as you probably know you dont get as many body shape options, the only other V shaped basses have rounded point edges like a Gibson V or and I searched for years for something like a Jackson King V or Rhodes shaped bass and I found out unless you get something custom which costs a small fortune there was really no other option...Then I found the Dean Razorback V which is in my opinion the probably the most killer V shaped Bass ever made... its not all about how it looks, because as much as this bass has such a badass shape, its massive with an extra-long 35 scale length, its got a totally monstrous sound to suit with high-mass bridge for sustain and tone, humbucking soapbar pickups and active electronics that gives low tunings incredible punch and response and rock-hard multi-laminate neck-thru construction for powerful play. Bass is in great condition though things I want to let you know the following and have added some photos to show... There is one backplate of a machinehead missing. Easily replaced and doesnt affect anything really but still better to let you know than not, light scruff marks on the V points from having it stand up against a wall or bass stack but no chips, heavy scratches dents or anything else, body is clean, but might need to give it a wipe and put some brandspankin new strings and just keep in mind massive scale so need to buy Extra Long Bass strings. The case works in the sense that it protects the bass and inside is perfect and still smells like new guitar however it has toured and outside aesthetically you can tell this so it does show wear and tear.
