Dean Standen shared, I regret to inform you that Chase Professor Emeritus Edward Goggin passed away on Monday. The arrangements are being handled by Gilligan Funeral Homes in Cincinnati. The visitation is Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and the funeral is Friday at 10:00 a.m. Details are in the link below. Professor Goggin joined the faculty in 1972, retired in 1998, and taught part-time until 2003. He taught Labor Law, Contracts, Torts, and a seminar in Sports Law. His special interests included labor arbitration, and he served as a labor arbitrator for a variety of industries. He was a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators. Professor Goggin was congenial and well-liked by his colleagues and students.
