To perform sales presentations to our customers and prospects. To collaborate with sales, marketing and services teams to continually improve our demonstration including sales scripts, discovery process, best practices, sharing expertise/training and guiding solution development. Specific responsibilities include: - The delivery of standard and customized technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops and seminars. To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding solution, services and training. Executing and supporting IT Hardware/software trial plans. To contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans. Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives. Prepare for exams and complete certifications for partner enablement. Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department and company goals. Desired Skills and Qualifications:- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required. Minimum qualification graduation. Diploma/Degree in engineering with at least 2 years of domain experience. Knowledge of pre-sales specialized in compute, storage, networking and security besides virtualization. Be primary technical contact for prospective customer throughout their technical due diligence evaluation of products/services. Analyze customer requirements and develop solutions including recommendations on product selection, architecture, licensing, configuration, and sizing and scalability. Meeting customer expectations and Act as primary technical contact Training, workshops at customers end Assist in the internal knowledge transfer and Assist the direct sales. Should be genuinely excited about new market development, have a strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest market trends. Must be a self-starter and motivated. Build and maintain strong client relationships . Market Research • Lead Generation • Cold calling • Outbound sales experience • Hard core sale • Pre- sales / Online Marketing/ Email Marketing Significant exposure in a pre-sales roles in an IT Products selling environment ( Pre sales exposure for selling services solutions only would not suffice ), preferably to customers in IT/Governement. Significant understanding of IT product deployment, integration, provisioning and operation of the solution and related technical concerns . Excellent communication and presentation skills. Excellent documentation skills using MS Word, Power Point, Excel. Excellent product demonstration and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise and technically accurate responses to product related inquiries (functional and technical) in both written and verbal form. JOB DESCRIPTION The role involves managing Bids/ Proposals/ RFP/ RFI responses, preparing presentations, preparing for client visits etc. Between proposal projects, he / she will assist with other phases of the business development cycle, e.g. contributing to Marketing and Lead-gen activities. Preparation of Bid / No Bid documentation and obtaining authorisation to bid and formulating a winning bid strategy. Client Interaction, product evangelization & requirement gathering. Understanding and coordinating clients’ needs / enhancements, customization of product accordingly and consult with technical & sales team to provide solutions as per the delivery schedules. Giving presentations with presales proposals and demonstrations to the prospective client. Handling client interaction for requirement gathering, finalisation of functional specifications. Gathering the requirements, communicating the requirements to the technical teams, doing the functional validation of solution built and following up with technical team in resolving the defects. Capturing the Change requests from the customers and coordinating with technical team in addressing these change requests. Ensures compliance to RFP/RFI requirements, as well as applying quality and style standards. Monitors and manages look and feel of final proposal document. Guiding proposal section authors and editing their contributions to ensure that every aspect of the proposal document differentiates the proposal from competitors. Manages, maintains, and applies corporate client data for proposal and marcom usage. Identifying the reports / white papers required by customers and generating them from the solution. Conducting detailed market study to analyse the latest market trends and track competitor activities and providing valuable inputs for product development and marketing strategies.
