Dear All, Please be aware that IHV have changed the rules on eligibility for juniors to play summer. About six weeks ago we were advised that there was a proposed rule change but we were never advised that it was ratified. the NEW rule and regulation is as follows To be able to play in a Division 1 or 2 level game, a player (including goalies) must be 15 years of age or older as of January 01, of the year the competition begins (eg. 01 January, 2014 for the 2014-2015 season) . To be able to play in a Division 3 or 4 level game, a player (including goalies) must be 14 years of age or older as of January 01, of the year the competition begins (eg. 01 January, 2014 for the 2014-2015 season). The implication given the 1 Jan is most juniors will be 16 to play Div 1 and 2 and 15 to play Div 3 and 4. I am not sure what consulation was made with the junior ambassadors but I have contacted Charles to find out. Regards David Cantrill
