Dear All, Thank you for taking time to read my lengthy success story. I am vary happy to share this. I had been through times of testing since December 2013, I have struggled, faced obstacles, in both personal and professional front although I constantly worked followed my instincts, to find my destiny/ my desire/purpose of my life. I always wanted to be on my tiptoes ever since I enrolled in MPH studies. Dropped some opportunities due to external limitations. I was taught to be patience, dont give up, and reminded one day I will be acknowledged, recognized for my creativity, self expression, knowledge and skills. Now there are lots of good things started happening in my life. Yes, back in the month of March 2014 I have submitted a concept of Addressing poverty through National TB control Program in India to the #EmergingVoices4GlobalHealth programme which will be running in parallel with healthsystemsglobal.org/ Third global health systems research conference (30th September to 3rd October) which is going to be held in Capetown, South Africa. At first my application was not successful in #evgh2014 because of limited 40seats availability. But my abstract was accepted for poster presentation in symposium. And then my application was not successful in getting funding for conference registration also. Not in the position to apply for external funding also because I am not yet associated with any organization. Out of the blue, suddenly received a mail from PHFI New Delhi, nodal agency for Global health systems research saying that they will advocate with MOHFW, India and WHO-India for full or partial funding to attend symposium for accepted abstracts from India. Today I have received the mail, saying that symposium organizers funding for 15 researchers from the recommended list by Nodal Institute for HPSR in India, PHFI. I am one amongst the 15delegates. It all started in first half of 2013, that I have decided to do my master thesis on Missed opportunities for TB patients due to this idea/thought/protocol/or concept I have been selected for the National Operational Research Course (2013-2014) by IUATLD SouthEast Asia, what I am doing right now. January 2014, I was happened to read a research paper talking about Poverty and Tuberculsois, that moment I have started conceiving a concept of addressing poverty through national Tb control program. Right now I am landed up with this positive, happy moment to share. Thank you so much for your time. feeling the ecstasy of success #happy #acknowledged #PursuitofHappiness
