Dear All, Worth Valley District Ward Cllrs are inviting proposals from interested groups and organisations to help them allocate Ward Funding. Following a successful pilot last year, Ward Cllr Glen Miller, Cllr Rebecca Poulsen and Cllr Russell Brown are again inviting submissions for ideas that are looking to support the vibrant and busy Worth Valley communities. Cllr Glen Miller said "The brief is simple, we are looking for sustainable community projects and initiatives that will compliment the Worth Valley Action plan" A £9000 allocation was made to the Worth Valley Ward by Keighley Area Committee, to help in the delivery of the Ward plan, In order to submit your proposals you would need to be part of a constituted group or organisation, interested groups should contact their Local Worth Valley Ward Cllrs for further information before completing a proposal form. A proposal form is attached, please read through the Guidelines and Criteria for application and copies of the Ward Action Plan are available from Keighley Area Co-ordinators Office. There is a two part application process , proposals for projects will be required by 18th October 2013 and successful proposals will be asked to attend a public presentation evening where local residents, Councillors and fellow applicants will judge proposals on their merit, sustainability and benefit to the Worth Valley Ward.
