Dear All friends, I have to announce to you that there is sad news about one of our friend who lived in Guam before and transferred to Manila, Akio Konishi. He got a car accident two weeks ago in Manila and injured the lower part of his body. His spinal cord was damaged and he is unable to walk. He needs about 6 months in a convalescence home to complete recovery and will go through rehabilitation to walk again. This will take time and will require financial support. So, among his friends from Guam, we have decided to have a fund raising for Akio Konishi to support his finical need. Once we finalize fund raising information, we will announce. I am also requesting that each of you send Akio Konishi a personal message of your support. This will encourage him to continue rehabilitation and let him know that we are with him in his time of need. Thank you, Hyatt Guamで働いていて、フィリピンマニラに 移られた小西章夫さんが2週間ほど前、不幸にも車の事故に 遭われてしまい、全治6ヶ月の重傷の怪我を負ってしまいました。 脊髄を強打した事により、今は膝から下の感覚が無いとの事で、 うまく完治すれば歩けるようになるとドクターからは言われて いるそうです。 現在、マニラの病院に入院をしていますが、車椅子に乗れる ようになったら、治療に専念する為に日本に帰国されるそうです。 強靭な体を持っている章夫さんですので、過酷なリハビリにも 耐え、完治して歩けるようになる事を祈るばかりです。 リハビリ中は仕事も休職、保険も限られた部分でしか補償が されないようで、費用も多く掛かるようです。 励ましの声を掛ける事と併せて募金をしようとグアムの知人や 有志で話をしています。これからAKIO Fund Raisingとしてイベント やラッフルチケットで少しずつですが募金活動をしていく予定です。 この件をFBに載せる事は章夫さんから了承を頂きました。 少しでも多くの励ましのメッセージや募金のご協力を頂ければと 思っています。 募金の詳細等が決まり次第、再度ご連絡させて頂きます。 From Yoshihisa Otani Miwa Bravo Junko Ikeda Kosuke Kikushima
