Dear Ann-Marie, I am interested in how iGas energy is going to take care of the environment if it goes ahead with the process of hydraulic fracturing for shale gas? I found out about this process a month ago and have extremely grave fears having read about how many people have become ill when their water has become polluted with methane and toxic chemicals and the air in their towns is full of benzene and toluene and they suffer now with breathing difficulties? What about climate change when wells leak and I am told by a mining engineer that they can never be totally leak proof and methane in the environment exacerbates climate change a hundred fold. Is this really a sustainable or desirable practice? It is now banned in a number of countries. Can you please explain your companies vision for the future in this area? I am very frightened. Yours sincerely, Julia Owen Sent from my iPad
